The Role

We are looking for a Sales Intern who will support our commercial team in all sales back-office activities, while gradually learning how to manage customer interactions and sales cycles. This role is designed for someone who is curious about sales, eager to learn in a fast-moving startup environment, and ready to build the foundation for a future career in B2B software sales.

Language

Our internal docs and collaboration happen in English โ€” strong proficiency is required. Since weโ€™re based in Italy, fluency in Italian is a big plus.

Key responsibilities

๐Ÿงพ Sales Support & Operations

  • Assist in preparing sales materials: one-pagers, proposals, and presentations

  • Keep our CRM updated and clean, maintaining pipeline hygiene and data quality

  • Help schedule meetings, organize agendas, and follow up with prospects

  • Manage inbound requests and route them to the right person on the team

๐Ÿ” Lead Qualification & Research

  • Research companies and prospects to enrich CRM records

  • Tag ICPs and assist with early-stage lead qualification

  • Support reporting and tracking of sales metrics

๐ŸŽ“ Learning by Shadowing

  • Join sales calls with account executives to learn from real conversations

  • Observe how we qualify leads, pitch the product, and manage the sales process

What are the essential requirements and skills?

๐ŸŽฏ Must-have

  • Strong organizational and communication skills

  • Proactive mindset and ability to take ownership of small tasks

  • Friendly, trustworthy, and team-oriented attitude

  • Curiosity about sales and working with customers

  • Fluent in both Italian and English

Experience weโ€™re looking for

  • Currently enrolled or recently graduated in Business, Economics, Marketing, or related fields

  • Previous experience (even through university projects, internships, or part-time jobs) in sales or customer-facing roles is a plus

  • Most importantly: you're eager to learn and interested in growing into a future role in B2B sales
