About the position

We are seeking a talented and motivated intern to join our Customer Base Team as a DataOps Intern. This will allow you to collaborate with all chapters (sub-teams) within the team while primarily working within the Technical Solutions chapter. As a DataOps Intern, you will play a crucial role in expanding our customer base and driving the adoption of Hiop's innovative technologies, following and ensuring the adoption of our framework in incredible companies, teams and startups and collaborating within ambitious customer activities that use our fundational tech to deliver the next big data and AI-based product, service or decision.

Duration: 3 to 6 months

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth research on various sectors and verticals to identify potential adopters of Hiop's technology

• Analyze and study challenges in data science and AI that can be addressed with Hiop's features and solutions

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative ideas for new features and products

• Engage with prospective clients to understand their needs and demonstrate how Hiop's framework can solve their data-related challenges

• Assist in onboarding new clients and ensuring smooth integration of Hiop's solutions into their existing workflows

• Contribute to projects focused on data analytics, data science workflows, AI, and data engineering

• Prepare reports and presentations on market trends, potential opportunities, and competitive analysis

Preferably you are…

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Innovation Management or a related field

• Proactive, entrepreneurial, and enthusiastic.

• Curious (and a bit geek) about data analytics, AI, and emerging technologies.

• Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

• Analytic, pragmatic, and result-driven.

• A creative thinker with a keen eye for identifying customer needs.

• Confident in written and verbal communication both in English and Italian.

• Strong in communication and interpersonal skills

• Knowledgeable in data science concepts and methodologies.

• Proficient in at least one programming language e.g., Python, R, Java (it’s a plus)

• Adept at handling confidential information with discretion
